Today is going to be somewhat relaxed.
Bodyweight strength, karate practice, and some sprints. Mainly because tomorrow is going to be fucking intense.
Tomorrow will consist of several hours of parkour, then a 6 mile run, and if I have any energy left some kumite.
So today is mainly just eating lots of food warming my body up and preparing it for tomorrow.
On to non Halloween related subjects.
Had karate practice today after school. I have to say, it was the single hardest martial arts session to date. A newer girl named amanda has been coming to our practices lately, she’s a 1st degree black belt in shotokan karate. OUr instructor decided to let her teach for a couple of classes( we do shorin ryu) to get some experience for her. Today she decided to use some pretty intense shotokan conditioning drills, and DAMN that shit was hard.
Don’t mean to tot my own horn, but I’m in pretty good shape. I have good strength, endurance, and stamina. But damn it was really really really hard. I was pouring sweat by the time we were done. But DAMN it was awesome. She said it will be even harder next time, I can’t fucking wait.
